Built to last 30+ years

Concrete paving carries traffic that asphalt cannot handle for long. Parking lots, commercial drives, loading areas, and roadways take constant weight and brutal Las Vegas sun, and a concrete surface poured right outlasts the alternatives by years. We pave for the long term.

Good paving is half materials and half method. We start with a properly graded and compacted base, use quality concrete mixes built for our heat and occasional cold snaps, and run the right equipment to place, screed, and finish large areas flat. Control joints and proper slope keep water moving and cracking under control. When underground utilities or soft soil show up mid-project, we adjust the plan instead of paving over a problem.

  • Graded, compacted base built for heavy traffic loads
  • Quality mixes for desert heat and cold snaps
  • Control joints and slope for drainage and crack control
  • Residential, commercial, and industrial paving

Concrete paving we handle

Parking lot paving

Full commercial lots poured for vehicle traffic, with the slope, jointing, and striping layout planned so water drains and the surface lasts.

Driveway paving

Residential and commercial drives built on a solid base with reinforcement, finished to handle daily vehicle weight without rutting or cracking.

Walkways and approaches

Pathways, entry approaches, and connecting paths poured flat and even, finished for traction and tied cleanly into the surrounding hardscape.

Loading and access areas

Heavy-duty paving for loading docks, equipment yards, and access lanes, built thicker and reinforced for the kind of weight that crushes lesser surfaces.

Roadways and private drives

Private roads and long access drives paved to carry traffic over the long term, engineered for the loads and the soil they cross.

Decorative paving

Stamped, colored, and textured paving for projects that need to match a home or property aesthetic without giving up durability.

Our Process

How we deliver a flat, durable paved surface

1. Site survey and drainage plan

We measure the area, assess the existing grade, and plan the finished slope so water drains correctly. For parking lots and commercial paving, a surface that puddles is a problem from day one, and slope has to be designed in at this stage.

2. Demolition and grading

Old pavement, vegetation, or unsuitable fill is removed, and the subgrade is cut to the correct elevation. Any soft spots, fill material, or problem soils are addressed before compaction starts.

3. Base preparation

Aggregate base goes in and is compacted in lifts to a firm, stable foundation. Base depth depends on the load class: 4 inches for light residential, 6-8 inches or more for commercial and heavy-duty applications.

4. Forms, reinforcement, and joints

Perimeter forms are set at the correct elevation, interior joint forms are laid out, and rebar or wire mesh is placed at the right height within the slab. Reinforcement keeps the slab from opening up at any cracks that form.

5. Concrete placement and screeding

Concrete is poured and spread with the right equipment for the area size. We screed to grade and check flatness across the full surface as we go, not just at the edges.

6. Finishing, jointing, and curing

The surface is finished to spec, control joints are cut at intervals matched to the slab dimensions, and curing compound is applied immediately. In Las Vegas heat, curing management is what separates a 30-year slab from one that starts cracking in year three.

Cost and Scope

What affects the price of concrete paving

Standard broom-finish concrete paving for residential drives and parking areas typically runs in the $10-15 per sq ft range as a general Las Vegas market reference. That covers a standard residential driveway or small commercial lot poured to code depth with normal reinforcement and a broom finish. Several factors push the number higher.

Slab thickness and load class

Standard residential driveways go at 4 inches. Commercial lots step up to 6 inches with reinforcement. Loading docks and heavy equipment areas need 8 inches or more. Thicker slabs use more material and more crew time.

Reinforcement requirements

Wire mesh is the baseline. Heavy-load areas need rebar designed for the axle loads and soil class. Reinforcement upgrades are priced out during the estimate based on the intended use.

Decorative finishes

Stamping, integral color, and exposed-aggregate finishes add cost over a plain broom surface. For residential paving that needs to match your home's look, these are worth pricing at estimate time so you can decide.

Site prep complexity

Significant demolition, problem soils, steep grades, or utility conflicts require more work and equipment time before the first concrete goes in. These factors are assessed and included in the estimate scope.

Concrete paving FAQ

How does Las Vegas weather affect concrete paving?

Extreme heat and the occasional cold snap put real stress on paving, which is why a demanding climate calls for specialized mixes and a smart maintenance plan. We use mixes and jointing built to handle the swings, and keeping the surface clear of debris with regular sealing helps prevent cracking and keeps the paving solid for the long term.

Why choose concrete paving over asphalt?

Concrete handles heavy traffic and high heat far better than asphalt over time. It does not soften and rut in summer the way asphalt can, it lasts longer, and it needs less frequent resurfacing. For lots, drives, and access areas that take real weight, concrete is usually the better long-term value.

Can you handle permits for a paving project?

Yes. We are experienced with local regulations across the Las Vegas area and secure the necessary permits for your paving project. We make sure the work complies with all standards so you do not have to manage the paperwork or worry about code issues.

What happens if you hit utilities or bad soil during paving?

We plan for it. If we run into underground utilities or soft, unstable soil during the project, we stop and adjust the approach rather than paving over a problem. That might mean rerouting, extra compaction, or added base material, all aimed at a surface that holds up instead of failing early.

Can paving be customized to match my property?

It can. Beyond standard finishes we offer stamped patterns, integral color, and textured surfaces so residential paving can match the look of your home and landscaping while still delivering the durability the surface needs.

How much does concrete paving cost in Las Vegas?

Standard broom-finish concrete paving for residential driveways and small parking areas typically falls in the $10-15 per sq ft range, which is the general Las Vegas market rate for comparable flatwork. Commercial lots, heavy-duty pads, and thicker slabs for equipment will run higher. Decorative finishes like stamping or integral color add cost on top. The accurate number for your project comes from a free on-site estimate.

How long before I can drive on new concrete paving?

Light passenger vehicles can typically use cured concrete after 7 days. Heavy trucks, delivery vehicles, and equipment should wait for the full 28-day cure before going on the surface. We advise you on this based on your mix and conditions on pour day. Cutting the cure time short is one of the most common causes of early cracking and surface damage.

How thick should concrete paving be for my application?

Residential driveways are typically 4-6 inches. Commercial parking lots are generally 6 inches with reinforcement. Loading docks, equipment yards, and areas handling truck or forklift traffic should be 8 inches or more, with rebar designed for the axle loads. We specify the right thickness during the estimate based on the intended use and soil conditions.
