1. Site walk & finish selection
We look at your pool, the existing deck if there is one, and how you use the space, then help you choose a finish, color, and slip texture that fits the way your family swims and entertains.
2. Prep or demo
For a new deck we excavate and haul off any failed slab. For a resurface we clean, profile, and repair the existing deck so the overlay bonds to a sound surface.
3. Base, grade & drainage
We compact the base and set the grade so water sheets away from the pool and the house instead of pooling on the deck or running back toward the coping.
4. Forms, reinforcement & joints
Forms define the deck edges and coping line, reinforcement goes in, and control joints are planned so the slab cracks on the line, not across your walking areas.
5. Pour or overlay & finish
We place the concrete or apply the overlay, then finish it with the slip texture and color you chose, whether that is broom, knockdown, or a stamped cool-deck pattern.
6. Cure, seal & protect
