Real concrete jobs completed across the Las Vegas Valley. Driveways, patios, slabs, stamped work, retaining walls, and walkways. This is what 30+ years of desert concrete looks like.

The Portfolio

Built for the Las Vegas Valley

Every project on this page was poured and finished by our crew somewhere in the Las Vegas metro area. The desert punishes shortcuts: hard caliche subgrade, summers that hit 115 degrees, and seasonal ground movement that cracks concrete that was not prepped correctly. We have been doing this for 30+ years, and the work holds up.

Driveways

Concrete driveways are one of our most common jobs. Standard broom-finish concrete runs $10-15 per sq ft in the Las Vegas market; stamped and decorative finishes start higher. Every driveway gets a properly compacted sub-base and correctly placed control joints before a single yard goes in the ground.

Patios and outdoor living

Concrete patios and outdoor kitchen slabs are one of the best upgrades for a Las Vegas backyard. We handle the full pour from forming and reinforcement through finish, whether that is a plain broom texture, smooth trowel, or stamped pattern. Also see full patio installation for projects that include covers, seat walls, and drainage.

Slabs and flatwork

Side-yard slabs, RV pads, storage pads, and utility pours. Concrete slabs in the Las Vegas Valley need the right vapor barrier, proper sub-base compaction, and control joints that give the slab somewhere to move before it decides on its own. We do not skip those steps on small jobs any more than on large ones.

Stamped and decorative concrete

Pattern and color turn plain gray concrete into a finished surface that holds its own against tile or natural stone, at a lower installed cost and with less maintenance. We work with industry-standard stamped texture and integral color systems to get the look right. See the full stamped concrete and decorative concrete pages for finish options and pricing ranges.

Walls and walkways

Retaining walls, sidewalks, and walkways round out most residential projects. The Mount Charleston wall below is a good example of structural work outside the city core, where grade changes and rocky soil add complexity that a lot of crews are not set up to handle. Block walls follow the same standards: proper footing depth and the right block spec for the load.

Project Highlights

Three projects, up close

A closer look at the prep, scheduling, and finish decisions that went into three recent jobs across the Las Vegas Valley.

Residential driveway replacement, Las Vegas Valley

A recent full-driveway removal and replacement at a Las Vegas-area home. The existing slab had heaved from root growth and years of thermal cycling. We saw-cut and hauled out the old concrete, then graded and compacted the caliche base to get a solid foundation before we poured. Because this job ran during the hot months, we scheduled the pour for an early-morning start so the crew could finish and seal before afternoon temperatures peaked. Control joints went in at the right spacing to give the slab room to move without cracking randomly. The result is a clean broom-finish driveway that sits flush at the approach and drains correctly to the street.

Backyard patio and outdoor kitchen slab, Las Vegas Valley

This backyard project combined a main patio slab with a dedicated outdoor kitchen pad and a separate seating area poured around an established tree. Working close to mature roots required hand-forming sections and keeping slab depth controlled to avoid damage. The kitchen area got a smooth trowel finish since it sits under a cover and takes heavy foot traffic near appliances. The main patio used a slightly coarser broom texture for grip. Two back-to-back morning pours allowed the crew to work the concrete at the right stage on each section without rushing. The whole outdoor space came together without cutting any corners on sub-base work or joint layout.

Stamped flagstone-pattern patio, Las Vegas Valley

A homeowner wanted the look of natural flagstone without the shifting, cracking, and weed problems that come with set stone in our climate. We poured a standard 4-inch residential patio slab with rebar reinforcement, then worked the stamps in while the concrete was at the right consistency. Integral color went into the mix for a consistent base tone, and a release color was applied to the stamps to create contrast in the grout lines and give the surface depth. The finished patio reads as stone from across the yard, holds up to the desert sun, and needs no resealing beyond a standard maintenance schedule. Stamped concrete patios typically run $13-20 per sq ft in Las Vegas depending on pattern complexity and color selection.
